The location couldn't be better, just a short walk to the medieval city walls. The room was beautifully designed, maximizing comfort even in its compact size.

Modern hotel, our stay was really really nice.

The location was amazing and incredible, for example, Cathar Castles was within a close distance from the hotel. The food provided was GREAT!

The hotel had indeed a perfectly comfortable location very close to the historic old town. And it was also near to the central square as well as both the main attraction, Carcassonne Cite, and the downtown 'new' ciry.

Just a great fit for a swift visit in Carcassonne with very good value for money. The beds were comfortable enough to get a good night's sleep after exploring. For better views, pay a little extra for a room overlooking the beautiful castle.

The location was superb, just by the ancient city and one member of staff was really helpful

the satellite television did not work, nor did the air conditioning. a gap had been left where the vent for the air conditioning was and during the first night i could hear animals moving around above the ceiling; needless to say i took a strong sleeping pill the second night and booked out as soon as i could without incurring a penalty! if you arrived for breakfast during the last hour there were no croissants left and no more supplied and the coffee machine had a mind of its own; when i pressed for cappucino i received luke warm chocolate. this probably rates as the worst hotel i have ever stayed in

1. Staff. friendly, they spoke Spanish and offered to answer your questions. 2. Room. quiet, perfect for resting. 3. Breakfast. Complete and correct. We suppose that in high season there must be more things, we went in low season and there were hardly any guests. Personally, I would add hard boiled eggs to breakfast. 4. Views from the hotel dining room to the castle wall. 5. Location. Ideal for walking to La Cite Carcassonne. which, by the way, is IM-PRE-SIO-NAN-TE, it seems like something out of a story,

1. Size of the bed. For someone who is over 6 feet tall, it can be quite uncomfortable to sleep with your legs out. 2. The design of the back of the bed, with that light box you can headbutt at any time. If it had been higher, it would have been perfect. 3. The Wi-Fi, you have to put your data to connect (I advise against it) and little coverage (it can be because of the location of our room). 4. The TV (this has nothing to do with the hotel). Someone very funny had programmed the TV to turn on late at night with the consequent scare.

Location close to medieval castle

Desk clerk upon check in very helpful. Also helped with directions. Excellent location for tourist. Great parking.

Poor wi-fi connection, shower left something to be desired. You can wash your hands while sitting on the toilet.

excellent location to see the medieval city. very short walk from the hotel. car parking on site was free and convenient. provided an excellent stay for an overnight stay for a good price.

this is not a hotel with lots of facilities/luxuries. great value for the price but would not stay here if you wanted to stay inside your room for too long.

Staying here with friends was fantastic! The location was perfect for exploring, and we enjoyed some board sports nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had great air conditioning to beat the heat. Don't miss out on the breakfast-it was plentiful and tasty!

The location is optimus, just near the castle of Carcassone and day-staff adorable.

Very modern hotel good location five minutes walk to the old town where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. Free car parking. Good choice of breakfast.

Hotel Espace Cite offers a prime location just a short walk to the medieval city walls. The staff were kind and attentive. The breakfast was good, with a good variety of options to choose from.

The outdoor area could use some improvement.

Immediately upon arrival we were made to feel very welcome; nothing was too much trouble during our stay; breakfast was a lovely meal in a relaxing atmosphere. Everything was provided to make the stay enjoyable. It was my third visit to Carcassone but my first stay in this hotel. I would definitely return and recommend to others. I booked two standard twin rooms as I was travelling with my brother and sister-in-law visiting me in London from New Zealand. They too would recommend to friends in New Zealand.
